SHS 3 Reopening Date Postponed To May - GES

The Ghana Education Service has indicated that the reopening of schools for third year students in Senior High School has been postponed to the 5th of May, 2021.
Following a proposal from the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary School (CHASS), the institution decided to take the initiative. Per previous announcements, schools were supposed to resume on the 30th of June, 2021 till the end of the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.
The directive is set to override the timetable released early on by the service. This applies to all form 3 Senior High School student in single track and double track schools.
The announcement today comes as students return to school from the Easter break to resume academic work.
