Second Sunday in May each year has been set aside to celebrate mother's globally for their dedication, hardwork, love and care for their children and families.
As part of activities to mark this day, the leader and founder of Mesukkah Organisation Ministries Int. in Dansoman, Accra has recognised and commeded mothers globally for standing firm and taking good care of their families in difficult times.
Speaking at mother's day seminar organised by the leader and founder of Mesukkah Organisation Ministries, Prophetess Dr. Mercy Coffie congratulated and commended global women especially widows for their hardwork and standing firm to saving their children and others.
She however called on the rich and well-to-do in society to stretch a helping hand to mother's especially widows and the needy as a way of giving hope to them and giving back to society.
"You don't have to support someone because she is your church member, a friend or a family member but wholeheartedly and willingly support anyone who needs help and God will definitely lift you up", she noted.
Prophetess Mercy Coffie then encouraged mothers to stay strong and look out for their children and families since they are the pillars and hope of the family.
