Fans Pressure Can Make Artiste Deliver Wack Songs On A Project -Sarkodie

Ghana’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie, born Micheal Owusu Addo has revealed why he named his recently released album “No Pressure” which has since been trending.

The album which was dropped three days ago garnered massive streams on digital music stores and social media as fans also shower praises on him for his style on the songs.

He recruited some other musicians across the world and includes, Wale, Vic Mensa, Giggs Cassper Nvovest, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, and others.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, Sarkodie waded into why he named the album “No Pressure” noting he work base on his own capabilities and will as he doesn’t look at the pressure the fans place on him.

He emphasized that the artiste’s creativity corrupts when he listens to the pressure from fans and other music consumers with regards to their expectations which will lead to the artiste not delivering good work.

He said, “I believe in going at my own pace, making sure I don’t skip the process and take my time. A lot of artists have lost what they possess due to the pressure from the people and what is expected of them”.
