Concerned Farmers Association of Ghana (CFAG) has added their voice to a peaceful election campaign as seen and heard by other organisations in Ghana and beyond. The following constitutes a press statement released by CFAG:

"As the nation prepares for the upcoming elections, the Concerned Farmers Association of Ghana (CFAG) wishes to remind the Electoral Commission (EC) of its sacred duty to ensure a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.

We urge the EC to remain impartial and neutral, and to conduct the elections in a manner that reflects the will of the people. Any attempt to manipulate the process or compromise the integrity of the elections will undermine the trust and confidence of the people in the democratic process.

Furthermore, we call on our security services to prioritize the protection of human life and dignity over the protection of ballot boxes. The safety and security of citizens must be paramount, and any actions that compromise this will be unacceptable.

We believe that peaceful elections are only possible when the process is credible, transparent, and inclusive. We, therefore, demand that the EC and security services work together to ensure that:

- Voting materials are distributed fairly and on time
- Voting takes place in a secure and peaceful environment
- The counting and collation of results are transparent and accurate
- Any disputes or grievances are addressed through peaceful and legal means

We urge all political parties, candidates, and their supporters to respect the rule of law, promote peace, and refrain from any actions that may compromise the integrity of the elections.

Let us work together to build a Ghana where democracy thrives, and the voices of all citizens are heard".
