Assorko Community Launches Assofest 2024

The chiefs and people of Assorko in the Shama District of the Western Region has officially launched the 2024 edition of their annual festival "ASSOFEST" at the Assorko Old Community Park on Sunday May 5.
This year’s celebration will be held under the theme, “IGNITING THE SPIRIT OF ASSORKO, BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY". The launch of ASSOFEST 2024 drew a significant turnout of chiefs, residents, and representatives from corporate entities, all pledging their unwavering support for this year's festival.
Speaking at the launch, the Chief of Assorko, NANA BREKROM - II urged collective efforts towards maintaining peaceful coexistence. NANA BREKROM - II extended an invitation to both residents and businesses to actively participate in and support the ASSOFEST preparations and celebrations.
