Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has urged government to involve founder and leader of Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Apostle Dr. Dr. Engr. Kwadwo Safo in planning the curriculum and activities of technical universities in the country to uplift the level of technological innovations to boost the industrial sector of Ghana. He said this at the 38th Annual technological exhibition of the Kristo Asafo Mission in Accra.
The mission and vision of Apostle Dr. Dr. Engr. Kwadwo Safo and his Kristo Asafo Mission has been the redemption of Africa from poverty and slavery. Hence, his implementation plan has been delving into industrialisation, Agriculture and Charity. Since 1971, he has been exhibiting his innovations from farm products to technological gadgets amongst others inviting Government personalities annually to witness the event yet these officials extend no sign of support for his ideology after their numerous promises.
During the 38th Annual Technology Exhibition, some of the items displayed were the Kantanka Otumfuo V8 vehicle which can detect whether you are drunk or not before it starts, Kantanka Obenfo lambogini with three tyres, various brands of Kantanka cars such as the K71, Omama, Mensah, Amoanimaa and the Ultimate Kantanka KA1802 APC armoured car.
At the event, Otumfuo acknowledge dignitaries present and congratulated Apostle Safo for his efforts throughout this 38 years of his philanthropic and technological works.
”Have our scientist and technologists in our country sat down to ask about what Apostle Safo is doing?” Asantehene asked. He continued China, India and other countries commenced in the same way now they are independent and developed. Hence Ghanaians need to reason enough to patronise our own and live by them. He tasked the ministry of Agriculture to sit with Apostle Safo for adequate details of his herbicides in order to partner him for development of Agriculture in the country. He therefore entreated all Ghanaians to come up with all efforts to help Apostle Dr. Dr. Engr. Kwadwo Safo.
The Senior minister of the Republic of Ghana, Hon. Yaw Osafo Marfo pleaded with Apostle to come out with our lost local foods and asked all and sundry to unite and push Apostle Safo’s agenda. He also urged the Minister of Science and Technology, Hon. Frimpong Boateng to put all effort within his capacity to push Apostle to bridge the technological gab.
Some dignitaries present at the event were MP for Asokwa, Hon. Patricia Appiagyei, Min. of Science and Technology Hon. Prof. Frimpong Boateng, Min. of State in charge of procurement Hon. Adwoa Safo, Dr. Vladimir Antwi Danso, Dean Ghana Armed forces and Staff College, Chiefs and other important personalities.
