HON. ADWOA SAFO INSPECTS PROJECTS IN DOME KWABENYA CONSTITUENCY
Deputy Majority leader in Parliament, MP for Dome Kwabenya Constituency and the Minister of state in charge of Public Procurement, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo has inspected ongoing and completed projects she begun last year in her constituency.
The MP in December 2018 promised the people of Dome Kwabenya constituency classroom blocks, streetlights, drain works, roads amongst others and she has delivered on some of these projects in her constituency today.
Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo together with her team and the press assembled at the residence of Chairman Bonsu who is a member of the team. The inspection commenced at Abokobi MA Basic School and later progressed to Old Ashongman to oversee the completion of the new kindergarten block.
The procurement minister and her entourage in addition with the press moved to Ashongman estates to inspect the ongoing Drain works and later continued the inspection at Atomic Roundabout road leading to Bankyease. They proceeded to an ongoing foot bridge in an area called Eduro wura to inspect the progress of the project where the residents in the area hail her for a good work done. In an interview with one of the residents, he expressed their profound gratitude and excitement the minister has brought to their vicinity.
The inspection continued at Kwabenya where the MP inspected 6 and 12 unit classroom block at Kwabenya Senior High School afterwards they moved towards the Taifa Community to inspect the 6 unit classroom block. She also inspected the street lighting works as well as the bridge connecting Taifa and CFC at Norway.
Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo finally ended the inspection at Dome where she inspected the 6 unit classroom block at Dome cluster of Schools which was still under construction. Residents at Dome Kwabenya also hailed her for the good works.
She concluded in a press interview spelling out the brain behind the inspection and acknowledged the contractors and engineers for their immense effort.
