HERBAL MEDICINE ENHANCES GENERAL HEALTH- DR. ZANGA
Award winning doctor, CEO of Ropheka health center and Ropheka foundations Dr. Mary Dei Zanga has stated that, herbal medicine enhances general health and well-being of a person. She said it has powerful ingredients and should be taken with the same level of caution as pharmaceutical medication.
Speaking on SIMA health show Dr. Zanga revealed that, the “TMPC” Traditional Medicinal Practice Council is engaging in a lot of intensive training for herbal practitioners before they are given license to work as herbalist.
According to her, herbal medicine helps in shaping babies in wombs before their birth and as well pregnant women during delivery.
Dr. Zanga with her medical experience advised that, apart from taking herbal medicines during pregnancy, it is necessary for pregnant women to attend antenatal regularly to know the health of the unborn child.
She also lamented that ambulance should not only be at the hospital but around the society to help reduce the cost of death in our country.
“All ambulances should have a mini pharmacy, oxygen, nurses and all it takes for health care assistance to save life”. She added.
