A newly constructed, ultra-modern dining hall has been officially commissioned and handed over to Zorkor Senior High School, marking a significant milestone in government’s and the school’s efforts to improve student welfare and learning conditions.
The project features a spacious eating area, modern kitchen facilities, improved ventilation systems,and durable furnishings designed to accommodate the school’s growing student population.
At a brief ceremony on today, Thursday 4th December,2025. the consultant highlighted the importance of providing students with a conducive environment for meals, noting that proper nutrition and comfort contribute greatly to academic excellence.
The contractor expressed satisfaction at completing the project on schedule and to specification.Adding that the facility was built with high-quality materials to ensure safety and longevity.
School authorities were full of praise for the government and other partners involved, describing the dining hall as a “timely intervention” that will ease congestion and enhance students discipline during meal times.
The Headmaster, Mr. Caesar Achegaweh thanked the team for their professionalism and assured them that the facility would be well maintained. Students, visibly excited, commended the initiative, saying the new dining hall provides a more comfortable and dignified space for meals.
The commissioning of the dining hall forms part of broader efforts to improve infrastructure in senior high schools across the country, and stakeholders believe that such projects can significantly enhance education delivery.
