Controversial radio personality and Reggae Act, Blakk Rasta has stated in an interview with Mona Gucci on Linkup entertainment show on Kantanka TV that, he believes the youth can transform Ghana better than the aged leaders.
According to him it is time for the youth to rise up and take major leadership roles in Ghana so that the aged leaders can rest and serve as advisory boards to them.
He believes the aged leaders are not energetic and due to their aging status they have exhausted their thinking ability to transform and modernise the country as everyone anticipate.
The ‘Barak Obama’ hit maker added that “Nana Akuffo Addo is too old to be voted into power for another four years. The young guys aging from forty to fifty years should be given the opportunity to rule as well. When I say our President Nana Akuffo Addo is too old to rule Ghana doesn’t mean am a sympathizer of the opposition party NDC as I know some people may say. We thank the oldies for doing their part to transform the country but I think it is time to recognize the young ones as capable to rule”.
Blakk Rasta went ahead to caution the youth to desist from following aged politicians and come together peacefully to take the leadership mantle.
“I know some people would read different meanings into my opinion and attack me but if you punch my nose to bleed, I will fix it but when you destroy your future by following an aged politician who has nothing better to offer you and the entire country you can never fix it”, he cautioned the youth.
