PRETENDERS IN RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE ARE LIARS – COUNSELLOR D. Y. DONKOH REVEALS
Marriage Counsellor and Founder of Royal Believers Ministry, D. Y. Donkoh has revealed that pretending and lying in a relationship or marriage could break home.
In a discussion on ‘’Time With The Counsellor’’, a social developmental programme on Kantanka TV, the counsellor said, deceiving in a relationship or marriage breaks the trust and respect one partner has for the other.
“Pretending in your relationship means you are a killer and a liar”. “If your partner finds it difficult to defend you, then it means you are fond of telling lies”, he expressed. He again said that, it makes it much harder for a partner to believe the other even when they are telling the truth.
The counsellor cum Pastor made it clear that most victims by means of a broken heart is due to lies. “Lying to your partner all the time makes him or her have a second thought about you and can also lead to break up in your relationship or marriage”. The percentage of your partner listening to you anytime you speak will be low; and it makes your words mean nothing to him or her”, he added.
D. Y. Donkoh in his submission said there is no reward in telling lies but rather comes with disgrace and shame. He advised couples to keep proving their partners right once they have completely changed. “If you cannot communicate well and open up to your partner, ask yourself”, he asked individuals to reflect on it.
