ASK ‘OBOUR’ FOR THE GH¢2MILLION – A PLUS
The Ghanaian hip life artist, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known in the music industry as A Plus has said Ghanaians should ask Obour for the ¢2 million given to MUSIGA by the NPP government. He said this when interviewed by Nana Ama Mc Brown on united showbiz program last saturday.
Speaking on the show, A Plus cleared the air and said there is no way the government will give MUSIGA ¢2 million without the knowledge of the president of the association .
He also lamented that, the ¢2 million given to the association was not properly used but rather for seminars and research; which was totally uncalled for. Besides, the report on this said amount was full of mistakes and contradictions” which contributed adversely to the well being of the association.
“The people have their own money in the system that they can get but they have to put in place laid down polices to help push the industry forward, he added.
The analytical politician and music legend congratulated most of our legendary musicians and actors who willingly devoted themselves in the creative art industry to give us timeless music and movies which till date very appealing to the eyes and sound good in our ears.
“Mame Dokono,David Dontoh, and super OD were able to go far without social media. This clearly indicates that, the advent of social media will massively push the industry to another level if structures are laid down and enforced. The time has come for our legends to enjoy from their labour, he added.
